What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing varies based on the nature and complexity of the investigation to maximize success. While we offer reasonable rates, a precise estimate requires a consultation. Our consultations are free, with no obligation, and can be conducted in person at our Hempstead, NY office, or remotely via phone or Zoom.
NYPI is a unique business specializing in surveillance, missing persons, and executive protection. Our team comprises active or retired law enforcement officers with over 25 years of experience. We typically charge $100 - $150 per hour with a 10-hour minimum. If the investigation is completed in less than 10 hours, we refund the difference. We provide a clear agreement upfront, ensuring transparency before starting. Pricing is based on the size, scope, risk, and exclusivity of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free consultation to devise a strategy tailored to your needs. We'll first discuss all pertinent details, as each investigation is unique. After agreeing on a budget, we will proceed with the investigation. I will introduce myself, explain my qualifications, and listen carefully to your goals. We keep you informed throughout the process and take pride in our daily work helping others. Following the consultation, we will draft a retainer agreement outlining the scope of work and timeframe for completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our investigators have over 40 years of combined experience conducting background checks, surveillance, SIU interviews, scene inspections, and more. We only hire investigators with 5+ years of experience.
